In this month’s episode of ‘Did you know’, we bring to you one of our lending managers Dani Netzer so you can get to know a little more about the people behind the platform that you and hundreds of lenders and borrowers like you trust to invest money or borrow money with.
As one of the most senior members of our lending team, Dani is either on the road visiting projects and meeting developers, or in the office doing due diligence on our loans. But did you know that Dani is a mathematician turned property developer who, before joining Blend Network in April 2019, used to build up to £15m GDV schemes? Dani has a degree in maths and statistics, and not just one but TWO master’s degrees (one in finance and one in computer science) and used to build schemes of up to 50 units in and around North London.
So, Dani is a real numbers man and when it comes to property development, he’s seen it all. He truly understands the ins and outs of property development, speaks property developer’s language when it comes to funding a deal and adopts a solution-focused approach to lending. Dani strongly believes that blending solid analysis and number crunching with an overall understanding of the project is the cornerstone to funding a successful property deal.
Outside work, Dani is a busy man attending to his 7 kids. He regularly delights our office with the tasty desserts prepared in his household, which has us all worried about our waistline!
